In State Tuition or Out of State Tuition
If after you got accepted to a college, you purchase a home in that state, do you get to pay in state tuition immediately or you have to wait?

It varies from state to state, but the general rule is you must be a resident of such state for a period of 12 months before you can be eligible for in-state tuition.

Check out the following article. It allows students who are within a specific states to go to another state and pay only in-state tuition rate.
