  • Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow Positions – Li Lab, Tulane University The Li Lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Tulane University School of Medicine invites applications for Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow positions. These roles are supported by NIH grants and focus on investigating the role of cGAS-STING innate immune signaling in viral infection and tumorigenesis. Our lab aims to uncover the fundamental mechanisms of the cGAS-STING signaling and its influence on host defense, inflammation, and cancer development. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, integrating biochemical, molecular, multi-omics, and mouse genetic models (including conditional knockout and knock-in mice). Relevant publications include: Nature Communications (2017); Journal of Experimental Medicine (2017); Cell Stem Cell (2020) ; Communications Biology (2022) Qualifications: We welcome applications from highly motivated individuals with a PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant scientific field. Ideal candidates will have: A strong background and/or interest in molecular biology, innate immunity, virology, or cancer immunology Proficiency in core laboratory techniques, such as tissue culture, molecular cloning, and WB. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) A collaborative work ethic and demonstrated commitment to research Experience with cell signaling, genomics, ChIP-seq, protein purification, or animal models is considered a plus.
